About Us

Picture
The Women's Meet and Train League has been going for the past 25 years and it's objective is to offer accessible races for old, new and recycled runners, of the female persuasion at a nominal cost.

In recent times Crusaders have had at least two teams participating in these events and we have gone from strength to strength, and it has proving to be very popular with the ladies.

Ladies running
There is a Winter and Summer League, 4 races in each league, usually 2 miles. In the Summer we run on a week night, and Sunday mornings in the Winter.

The groups are specifically aimed at women of all ages and fitness levels to come run or walk with other women in a competitive basis, promoting the message that exercise can be fun and very social.

One of the key areas of the meet and train is to encourage women of all ages and fitness levels.

From complete novice to seasoned veterans to take part in physical activity in a relaxed and friendly environment

It is a fantastic, friendly and fun opportunity to meet and compete against fellow women from other clubs

We are always looking for club members to join us and represent Crusaders as part of our team.

All women are always welcome to run. We promise a social and highly enjoyable run, with cakes, tea and coffee after with a lot of chat.
