Training Options:
At Crusaders AC, we offer a diverse range of training opportunities, ensuring there's something for everyone. Whether you're into Fit 4 Life, recreational running, middle distance, long distance, or marathons, we've got you covered. We also have special groups dedicated to sprints and track work. These groups have their training times, which may differ from our regular training sessions. Training Schedule: Our training sessions are typically held on Tuesdays, with warm-ups starting at 6:30 PM and Thursdays for a relaxed social run or a session in the local park, where we meet at 6:30 PM at the Irishtown stadium's reception area. Tuesday evenings are especially welcoming for newcomers, and all abilities are encouraged to participate.
We also host Saturday morning training sessions in the scenic Phoenix Park at 10:30 AM, where most groups and abilities are welcome to join. Pre-Booking Training:
For Tuesday sessions, due to high attendance, it's essential to book your spot in advance. However, for all other sessions, no prior booking is required. To secure your spot, please visit our booking system HERE. When booking a Tuesday session, you'll see lanes 1 to 8, each with a designated 5k time to indicate the standard for that lane. Simply select the standard that matches your 5k time. If you're uncertain about your ability or standard, starting with the Fit 4 Life group in lane 1 is a great choice. |
Membership and Registration:

Don't forget to complete your annual subscription, which ensures your insurance coverage before attending our training sessions. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with our training within 14 days of payment, you can request a refund (minus €20, representing insurance and training costs).

Athletics Ireland Registration
While Athletics Ireland registration is optional for Crusaders Members, please note that joining Crusaders AC doesn't automatically register you with AI. If you'd like to be part of Athletics Ireland, you can purchase your membership from our membership options page at any time. Keep in mind that AI membership is valid until December of the current year and is required for specific races. You can choose to register when you need it if you're unsure. |
