Thank you so much for contributing to our clubhouse fund. We are extremely grateful for all donations, no matter how large or small, and we are delighted to almost be ready to move in to our new clubhouse! However, with our finances now depleted post-build, we are hoping to raise funds to buy a number of items to start to fit out our space. Your support will allow us to purchase the following equipment:
1: Defibrillator 2: A cross trainer machine (for injured athletes) 3: Kitchen appliances 4: Fold up chairs and tables We estimate the cost would be in the region of €4,500. The new extension to the stadium is owned jointly by Crusaders AC and St Pats CYFC. Crusaders will own the first floor with St Pats on the ground floor. The cost of the entire building including all professional fees came to €2.7m
The two clubs jointly applied and received a €2,050,000 grant that was available from Covant, the owners of the Ringsend Incinerator. The two clubs both invested all of their respective financial assets in the building and Crusaders are borrowing a €125,000 long-term loan from Community Finance Ltd, which is a Government sponsored Irish body. |
Crusaders' part of the building consists of a 40m open plan space laid with a multi sports surface (Mondo). There are also shower and dressing rooms, in addition to a kitchen.
Part of the open space will be utilized as a gym and the Crusader floor will greatly add to the availability of different activities for our club members including our own gym area, circuit training, pilates, yoga and for after training social gatherings. Special Thanks to the Community Foundation for Ireland for their large contribution towards the building of our clubhouse.
