Signing up for races is a great way to stick with any training programme.
Our members regularly organise trips to the big road races around Ireland. Also, taking part in marathons is a great way to see a city.
Every year, many Crusaders participate in the Dublin City Marathon and the Women’s mini-marathon.
Occasionally, small groups like to arrange trips to do marathons abroad.
Through road-running, you may also develop an interest in other areas of the club.
These could include cross-country, mountain running, or track running.
Adding a bit of variety to your running season keeps training fresh and interesting.
If you’re a runner looking for a club, or a beginner looking to get fit and running, come down to Irishtown Stadium on a Tuesday or Thursday evening and get involved (See Training for details). All levels of ability are welcome and catered for.
Prospective members are welcome to come along for a few weeks to see if the club suits their needs.
Alternatively, simply e-mail [email protected] if you have any further queries.
