We are so fortunate that club members Olwyn and Joe Dunne are both volunteer community first responders. They have offered to provide basic CPR/AED (defibrillator) training this Tuesday, August 3rd in Irishtown Stadium, during/after the usual Senior training sessions.
So we will be offering all members some basic Defibrillator training after each session on Tuesday. You will learn how to set up and operate a defibrillator. You do not have to go to training to attend. The session will be relaxed and very informative. After a brief introduction you will be encouraged to practice your new skills using the training AEDs and manikins. This will take place, outdoors, in the centre of the arena, mindful of all Covid Guidelines. Pre Registration is required and open to ALL whether you are attending training sessions or not. This will open on Sunday via this link - HERE This training will not take very long but is very useful information to have. It could actually save a life one day, so we encourage as many members to take part as possible. Comments are closed.
